Tecton Construction Management is licensed by the State of Indiana and
approved by the Department of Energy to perform Guaranteed Energy Savings
Contracts.
Guaranteed Energy Savings Contracts offer public owners an innovative
option for financing capital improvements with energy savings. State
legislation has enabled aging Indiana schools, universities, municipalities
and other public owners to address needed HVAC renovation and the quality
of the indoor environment in a proven, flexible and cost effective way.
As a GESC provider, Tecton would offer integrated solutions for energy
savings results. Under this program, Tecton, who is experienced in
the design, implementation, and installation of energy conservation
measures, would establish a formal agreement with a building owner to
reduce the energy costs of a building or a group of buildings.
By using the energy and operational cost savings to pay for the investment,
the contract allows a building owner to participate in a project without
a large upfront investment of capital. Tecton can offer packaged services
which include an energy audit/feasibility study which would include,
but not be limited to, recommendations for improvement in operations
and maintenance procedures; capital modification; design and engineering
work, installation and monitoring the reporting of savings.
